The T1 is a balanced, non-adjustable second stage built around a SUS 316 stainless steel metal valve core — nothing to fiddle with, nothing to go wrong. The balanced valve keeps inhalation effort low and consistent as depth and tank pressure change, and a metal-valve heat exchanger improves performance in cooler water. At just 176 g in a fiberglass-reinforced nylon case, it sits lightly in the mouth through long dives, which is why it partners the S1 in HOTDIVE’s school and rental regulator sets.
