01. Info
The S3 AC is the Arctic edition of the S3 balanced diaphragm first stage, purpose-built for ice diving and the coldest water. Compared with the standard S3 it has been put on a diet — meaningfully lighter on the manifold or under a drysuit-clad shoulder — and its heat-exchange design has been completely reworked to draw more warmth from the surrounding water, resisting free-flow and ice-up when the thermometer reads near zero. The diaphragm layout seals the valve mechanism away from water, silt and ice crystals, exactly what you want under a frozen lake. Two grades are available: the silver S3-AC and the black S3-AC Pro.
